Taking charge of our bodies

According to me taking charge of our bodies means wearing anything you feel comfortable in. It's high time society stops projecting their opinions or fears into people lives. If someone feels very comfortable wearing mini skirt let her be. People or society should start acknowledging that people can wear anything they want without being apologetic about their fashion, for instance, Dj Lamiez is the most criticized celeb because of her thick thighs and wearing mini skits. I feel it is very wrong for people to tell others to wear certain clothes because they think like them, it's wrong. It needs to come to an end!

Your views and opinions will be highly appreciated!

  1. I also think everyone should take charge of his or her own life, do what makes you happy, were what you can affort and what makes you feel comfortable. The rest will follow👍

    2. No i do not agree with you on this because if people we wears anything they want there will be high crime rate for example if a girl is loitering around with a panty it will be advantage to criminals to rape her and again we will take it as a seduce to men

    3. I do not agree with you anonymous on this one. Can't men keep it in their pants every time they see a short skirt and thick thighs? They can, they just don't want to. Raping someone doesn't just happen in seconds, you think before you do it actually decide to go ahead with it. I believe everyone is at liberty to wear whatever type of clothing they feel comfortable in, it's for them, their confidence lies in it, their self esteem.. It's their language and signature!

  4. I feel that taking charge of our bodies is not only wearing anything comfortable but also taking good care of our bodies. Diet should be considered as the first priority as keeping a good diet leads to fitness and healthiness of the body.

  5. We are living in Democratic world, everyone got his full control over his/her life.

  6. By doing that you are increasing the rate of rape cases. Above everything RESPECT and DISCIPLINE are the basic character to put yourself in. You will be addressed the way you dress. Dress accurately with respect of yourself(body, mind and soul). What we see is what we will get when we approach you.

    Be formal and real.Thank you

  10. As much as we can say every person has a right to wear whatever they want, it's not always the case with the society... Factors like culture, religion and others will always have an effect on how presents themselves in public

    2. 😂😂😂😂What! And what if my partner like that? Do I have to change my way of dressing (remember he fell in love with me dressing like that) because I'm married now? Isn't he going to leave and cheat with someone who wears what he fell for?
I feel like in marriage, things like this do matter, they should be discussed not forced onto someone.

  14. All I can say is wear anything that you feel comfortable, we should stop critizing other people because of their body, if they feel like wearing a mini skirt is okay just leave them.

  18. I agree, society always have something negative to say people should be allowed to wear what they likes plus we are living in a free country

    1. Truth! We all need to be free from this negativity

  19. The negativity of the society depends on how you take charge of your body,it is not a hidden fact that people today especially some women do dress to impress men so as to be sexually attracted, I believe taking charge of your body isn't just wearing something you are comfortable with but also consider how other people would look onto that,do things that you are sure someone on the other side would not see the problem.

  23. What we wear mostly expresses how we feel and I believe that if we let society take that from us then we won't get to show our true self

  24. Society will always have something to say so it's up to us what we do to prevent negative feedback

To me, clothing is a form of self expression. There are hints about who you are and what you wear. People should dress anything that they can afford and feel comfortable with.
