Taking charge of our bodies
According to me taking charge of our bodies means wearing anything you feel comfortable in. It's high time society stops projecting their opinions or fears into people lives. If someone feels very comfortable wearing mini skirt let her be. People or society should start acknowledging that people can wear anything they want without being apologetic about their fashion, for instance, Dj Lamiez is the most criticized celeb because of her thick thighs and wearing mini skits. I feel it is very wrong for people to tell others to wear certain clothes because they think like them, it's wrong. It needs to come to an end!
Your views and opinions will be highly appreciated!

I also think everyone should take charge of his or her own life, do what makes you happy, were what you can affort and what makes you feel comfortable. The rest will follow👍
ReplyDeleteI highly agree with you!
DeleteI high second the idea that people should take full charge of their lives without the fear of being criticized or judged.
ReplyDeleteHighly agree
DeleteRegardless of different people's perceptions respect is key. Anything that one doesn't deem to be right the least that can be done is respect those does who find it right
ReplyDeleteBut if I feel comfortable in that outfit, you also need to respect my comfortability
DeleteNo i do not agree with you on this because if people we wears anything they want there will be high crime rate for example if a girl is loitering around with a panty it will be advantage to criminals to rape her and again we will take it as a seduce to men
DeleteI do not agree with you anonymous on this one. Can't men keep it in their pants every time they see a short skirt and thick thighs? They can, they just don't want to. Raping someone doesn't just happen in seconds, you think before you do it actually decide to go ahead with it. I believe everyone is at liberty to wear whatever type of clothing they feel comfortable in, it's for them, their confidence lies in it, their self esteem.. It's their language and signature!
DeleteI feel that taking charge of our bodies is not only wearing anything comfortable but also taking good care of our bodies. Diet should be considered as the first priority as keeping a good diet leads to fitness and healthiness of the body.
ReplyDeleteYes! True
DeleteWe are living in Democratic world, everyone got his full control over his/her life.
ReplyDeleteYes! That is very true
ReplyDeleteBy doing that you are increasing the rate of rape cases. Above everything RESPECT and DISCIPLINE are the basic character to put yourself in. You will be addressed the way you dress. Dress accurately with respect of yourself(body, mind and soul). What we see is what we will get when we approach you.
ReplyDeleteBe formal and real.Thank you
I get your point! Can we go back then where girls used to dress traditionally, where we rape cases? None, men need to respect women
DeleteI highly disagree with this, our body our temple
ReplyDeleteCase closed
But this is democratic world
DeleteYep, your body is a temple. And we're also given free will. 🤷♀️
DeletePeople should wear wht makes them comfortable especially in public places , yes girls like mini skirts but they should wear those that dignify them not those that expose their body parts to the society or public off cos such kind of clothes attention.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone should wear what makes them feel comfortable. That's my opinion
DeletePersonally, one should wear anything they are comfortable with. And its really exhausting for people who always have something to say about what's not on their body
ReplyDeleteI high time society or people mind their business if they can't say anything positive
DeleteAs much as we can say every person has a right to wear whatever they want, it's not always the case with the society... Factors like culture, religion and others will always have an effect on how presents themselves in public
ReplyDeleteI get your point! But saying hurtful word isn't a good thing at all!
DeleteI think when you are still in the market you can wear whatever you want, buh once you are married or proposed to, that shit gotta stop.
ReplyDeleteIf my partner is okay with what I wear ,then that's okay by me
Delete😂😂😂😂What! And what if my partner like that? Do I have to change my way of dressing (remember he fell in love with me dressing like that) because I'm married now? Isn't he going to leave and cheat with someone who wears what he fell for?
DeleteI feel like in marriage, things like this do matter, they should be discussed not forced onto someone.
People Should Really Understand That We Don't Dress Up For Them..We Dress Up To Feel Comfortable And Look Good.
ReplyDeleteThat's absolute truth
DeleteNo one should ever be told what to wear and not what wear after all it's my body my choices
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! People need to respect our choices
DeleteAll I can say is wear anything that you feel comfortable, we should stop critizing other people because of their body, if they feel like wearing a mini skirt is okay just leave them.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! They need to shup up!
DeleteEveryone should wear what they are comfortable with regardless of their body
ReplyDeleteBeing comfortable with your body and how you dress is all that matters.
ReplyDeleteOthers opinions shouldn't matter
DeleteMy body my decisions and choices
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!

ReplyDeleteI agree, society always have something negative to say people should be allowed to wear what they likes plus we are living in a free country
ReplyDeleteTruth! We all need to be free from this negativity
DeleteThe negativity of the society depends on how you take charge of your body,it is not a hidden fact that people today especially some women do dress to impress men so as to be sexually attracted, I believe taking charge of your body isn't just wearing something you are comfortable with but also consider how other people would look onto that,do things that you are sure someone on the other side would not see the problem.
ReplyDeleteNowadays people have problem with everything
DeletePeople always say funny things, funny shandis when I'm wearing something that short, cause I got "thick thighs"?
ReplyDeleteMy life is easier, I stopped caring and explaining. I do me. I do what works for me.
Do what makes you happy
DeleteNo I do not agree with you because some dressing are against our culture, religious believe and historical background,we end up not knowing our cultural dress code because of morden dressing of today.
DeleteBut our culture was also revealing back then if you can look it
DeleteI agree with you
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely
DeleteTrue, we wear what we are comfortable with
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely
ReplyDeleteWhat we wear mostly expresses how we feel and I believe that if we let society take that from us then we won't get to show our true self
ReplyDeleteThat's very true
DeleteSociety will always have something to say so it's up to us what we do to prevent negative feedback
ReplyDeleteEveryone should wear whatever he/she feels comfortable with.
ReplyDeleteThat's true
DeleteTo me, clothing is a form of self expression. There are hints about who you are and what you wear. People should dress anything that they can afford and feel comfortable with.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely
DeleteEveryone should take charge of his/her own life
